  1. Does this car have a current log book and 2008 SCCA tech inspection? I race a Formula Mazda and a Spec Racer Ford in SCCA but have always been interested in the CSR/DSR cars... What would you consider selling the trailer and car package for? Race cars should stay race cars and street cars should stay street cars. Thank you for your time, Todd
  2. Is the car still available? Would it be possible for a taller and bigger driver to fit into this car? Cool video, good hand work thru the cones!
  3. Hey guys, my wife and I sat ( or should I say attempted to sit in ) yet another 7 replica this past weekend at Sebring Intl. Raceway..... No luck once again!!!! This time it was a replica by RM called an RM7. What a cool car... just WAY TOO small. We really are looking to buy a 7 type car, are there any that will fit what I consider to be a NORMAL size guy?? I am 6'2" approx. 250lbs.... not fat, think triathlon/weight-lifting bulid, size 14 foot... Are there any 7 type cars that will fit? I can stuff my foot into a size 13 racing shoe for the right car!! We would like to be fairly comfortable in the car on a long trip... Thanks, Todd
  4. Hi Dino, I love your car! If you are serious about selling it you may want to post it on the SCCA Sports Car Magazine site or in NASA Grass Roots Motorsports Mag. You may even want to contact Curt Scott @ Cobra Country, once in a while he will list a non-Cobra car. We have had 8 Cobras [some authentic, some reproductions] and we have found this site to be an awesome resource, esp. when trying to sell... Tell Curt we sent you, he really is a super guy! Many of the people looking @ this site are just looking for a "freedom machine"...and it just can't get any better than a 289 Cobra or a Lotus 7. Good luck, Todd
  5. Hey mike, last summer my wife and I drove 42 from outside Florence KY down to Prospect KY in our 427 Cobra... a very cool ride with lots of scenery and lots of elevation changes... lots of places to really crack open the throttle!! Definitely worth checking out. Todd
  6. We would love to do a mountain drive this summer... please keep us informed of any events. If we bring our 8 year old son we may have to take our 124 spider... not to worry as we will put Lotus badges on it!! Presently, we spend most of our time in FL but intend to make a transition up north in the next year. Endless summer is NOT all that it is cracked-up to be and it gets VERY, VERY OLD!! When is event in Carlisle? We'll be in Jersey towards the end of May for about a week. BTW, John, how do you like your Elan? Thanks Guys! Todd
  7. Hey guys, thanks for the warm welcome... It makes me/us even more glad we joined!! Yes Al, that is Sandy and I in the Elise... thanks for the link! I would appreciate more info on the 7 in Jersey... thank you. By the way, does anyone know if there are any club events planned in the near future in the mountains of TN or NC? Todd
  8. You guys are hilarious! This is wifey, BTW... hubby is in the den watching a Steven Segal movie. He'll write a reply tomorrow night. It took me a couple of seconds to figure out that you edited the photo... very cool move! Anyway, Todd gets a kick out of reading the rhetoric on this forum so I told him that he should become a member. He's very new to the computer/internet (two finger typer) and only knows how to surf for old cars/parts. Regarding our garage space... we have 3 stalls filled plus 2 vehicles in the driveway, 1 in storage and another at the inlaw's house. All works in progress except the 2 daily drivers and the Elise. We're hoping to move out of this deed restricted community soon so we can build a bigger garage and workshop. Thanks for the welcome... and the chuckle (yes, I did!). Sandy
  9. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1694819699_TheSs.jpg Hey guys, Just joined the forum and wanted to say hi. We have been looking at this site for a number of months and I must say you all seem like a very enthusiastic bunch! We have an Elise and just returned from a most cool anniversary weekend slaying the Dragon 129 and playing in formula cars at Road Atlanta!!!! Do I have a cool wife or what??!! We are looking at doing a 7 as soon as garage space allows. We look foward to talking with you all in the future. P.S. That is my wife in #77 car and me in #29. Todd
