  1. I am glad it made it ok. Post a pic of it up in your garage The half doors came with the car and Al had purchased them, but I assume they are the Caterham ones as they match the full doors I have (uninstalled and still in the bag) . They are great .
  2. Great! Glad you like it. .
  3. Prints are on the way, enjoy. I have two more left if anyone else is interested .
  4. I got the prints, see here Lookie here .
  5. As had been discussed in the Low Flying thread, I made up some 16"x24" poster prints of the Caterham shot I had done. They are printed with a 3/4" white border like in the image below. I have 8 available so first come first serve, but I can order more if they sell out. Cost is $20+$7 shipping and handling which is my cost. You can pay via paypal PM me if you are interested http://www.usa7s.com/vb/attachment.php?attachmentid=5070&d=1370502922 .
  6. Bessie, you must have smoked too many hydrocarbons, don't you remember the sponge bath I gave you?! And today, I sat in your lap and you got all hot. Your cousin was jealous so I took him for a ride too, I go both ways after all.... .
  7. Ha, thanks! Doing stuff like this makes me think more about turning amateur LOL All you wanted to know about Wobbly-web wheels http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wobbly-web_wheel .
  8. Bessie is quite the babe http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3735/8993222952_43fb82e8e1_b.jpg .
  9. I don't think any of those claims are supposed to be horsepower at the wheels (?). We did a dyno day here in SoCal a while back and everyone with this set up managed 200+hp (+/-170whp + an estimated 15%), but it took some ECU tuning to get there. .
  10. There would not likely be anything external on the motor to indicate that it has the performance package. From the pictures there is nothing to say it doesn't have it though, especially since it has throttle bodies and headers. It looks just like my motor which dyno'd at 204hp (crank) but it only achieved that after some dyno tuning (orig 175hp), it seems Caterham sent the cars out with some rather conservative tunes and optimistic hp rating.
  11. OK, so I made an executive decision and went with a little bigger print, 16x24 because it fits the format of the image better. I am having them printed with a 3/4 white border around them, see below. With this bigger size, the cost went up to $20 + shipping/handling. ( I haven't yet priced out the packaging) I ordered 10 prints so far. When they come in I will start a new thread about it. .
  12. Costco is actually about the same price for a 16x20 and I don't have a membership anyway
  13. Sorry, that was for a 16x20 print. If there is enough interest in the higher end prints I will look into getting it done that way
  14. Update: I had a test print made at the local inexpensive lab and I wasn't too happy with the results (and it wasn't that inexpensive either). The pro lab I would typically use to do a a high end gallery print is pretty expensive ($70ish per print). A colleague suggested an online lab he's used with good results, but it will take a while to get a test done, so I may just pull the trigger and have a bunch made and hope for the best. It's looking like they will be about $18 each plus shipping this way. Does that seem reasonable? .
  15. I had considered that, but then I wouldn't have control over the quality and I don't really want the full size file getting out there. I only intend to charge cost plus shipping/packaging.
  16. To keep cost reasonable, I will do a test print at the local photo lab to see if it is up to my standards and go from there. (Typically, I have custom prints made but they can be pretty expensive) I'll keep you posted Thanks
  17. .
  18. I can look into what it would cost to get some prints made. What size are you thinking? Thanks
  19. Oh neat, it came out already, I am not a member so haven't seen it. I think they said they might send me a copy. How's it look? Thanks! .

  21. I can't take pictures as I currently don't have the car in my possession but I did find these old shots that Al took http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061228_124239_OrangeSump.jpg http://www.usa7s.com/forum/uploads/20061228_124253_OrangeSump2.jpg It has been put to good use... .
  22. I don't recall what the filter is, but we are going to look into getting a better one Fuel pump is pretty new and pressure is good.
  23. I have filters both before and after the pump ( just before the rail) and we ran about a gallon of gas through the system but couldn't find anything. We're going to try and do it again
  24. Well I spoke too soon above. After fixing the broken hose in the fuel cell we couldn't get the car to run right. Discovered the injectors were clogged up, so cleaned everything out and it ran great for about two minutes and then the injectors clogged again. Sent the injectors out for professional cleaning, flushed the fuel system, cleaned the rail, got the car running great, took a drive and 40 miles later they clogged up again. People keep telling me it is the foam, but like Gert, there was no foam particles in the filter. It's been 5 week(ends) of working on this now :banghead: The only thing I can think of if not the foam is that perhaps when I was having the fuel starvation issues going around corners the fuel pump was grinding itself and when we drained the fuel lines it loosened those bits up and into the lines
