  2. Well that'll keep me from destroying the planet, but I don't see how it improves my tax situation. :leaving:
  3. Hey, that sounds great!!! I'd like to be exempt from taxes too.
  4. I've been unable to renew my membership since its expiration at the end of August. The message that I receive from Paypal is "This recipient is currently unable to receive money." What's up with that? AJ
  5. Anyone from here going to be there?
  6. Has anyone had any experience with GlowShift gauges? I was contemplating adding a fuel pressure gauge to the dash and perhaps combining the water and oil temperatures via switchable sensors? BTW, does anyone happen to know the range of fuel pressures that one should expect to see in the injector rail of a Zetec 2? Thanks, A.J.
  7. Sweet! Congratulations. I'd be interested to hear the engine if you have a chance to upload a sound file. Have fun.:driving:
  8. John, Thanks for the heads-up. I've spent the day trying to organize the shipping for the Seven. :banghead: I've also ordered a second lift so that my 4-car garage becomes a 5-car garage. I don't remember getting a new toy being such a major project when I was a kid. A.J.
  9. Oh, I see my intrepretation was indeed correct! :smilielol5:
  10. I can see why! That's my kinda view of the road. I'm not sure. The Elise is definitely smiling about what's soon to happen, but the Seven appears frustrated at the "object" blocking the track.
  11. Thanks for your help and information! Dick sends his regards.
  12. Thanks! I know Barber from LOG29 when I was there with the Cali. It's definitely a must do in the Seven.
  13. I just flew back from Arlington, Texas this evening and boy are my arms tired! Ba doom boom! I spent the day looking at Caterhams, Birkins and other beautifully engineered toys. I appreciate the help I received from people here and those over on the LotusTalk site which helped deepen my Lotus addiction. I returned home tonight with a title and bill of sale for the newest bit of Lotus DNA to grace my garage. I can't wait for the car itself to arrive. The new addition is a 1964 Caterham Super Seven S3 (Zetec & DeDion). It was great to meet and interact with Dick Brink. We had a great time talking about a variety of things mechanical and growing up with a wrench in your hand and grease on your face. Now all I have to do is learn to drive (I mean really drive) the new toy. :driving:
