Just got home from the blat. Great day, four sevens in attendance, Stewart and Katherine came along in their Z3....Bill arranged for us to do a photo shot with the biggest truck in the world in Sparwood...from there onto Fernie for lunch. Our return trip thru the crowsnest pass and up highway 22 to black diamond for supper. Sadly, Morley managed to disintegrate one of his front tyres just before Black diamond. Eventually sorted out with him heading for home courtesy of the AMA...pics will follow. Not tonight.....needless to say, it was a spirited run at the appropriate times....know wot I mean...wink wink, nudge nudge...

"Madge" is on the drive way, top down, gassed up and raring to go. :driving:

Blat time for the Alberta crew....tomorrow off to Sparwood BC. 5 cars so far. Weather forecast is good, all systems go. Am I pumped or what....tally ho..

Which hotel, motel are you booked into in Kalispell.

Hi Gert. What do you know about steering rod ball joints for the Birkin. Duane, one of our guys who is building a Birkin is ready to get the vehicle registered, but, has been told that he has to change his heim joints to ball joints. He is having trouble finding the right ball joints. Any advice for him would be great. Cheers. Steve

Get it the hell out of that shop. You know what you have to do to satisfy the powers that be. You have come to far and gone thru so much, don't pack it in now. Is what this shop is doing something you cant do yourself,there is a huge amount of combined knowledge on this forum, tap into it. All easy to say, you are the one on the recieving end of all this crap.

Hi Bill, you back in town.

Been driving my RHD for the past 4 years, no problem. Adds to the charm of the car, and so many who comment on the car instantly recognise it as a British car simply because its RHD.

Have not done the change over to Bike carbs yet, to much else happening but the car is on the road and running nicely. Probably go out for a quick run today..busy working on the house exterior today, part of the Honey Doooooo list.

Hey Stew..when you coming back, we need to get out, is your car road ready yet?

Thanks for your concern Mike, we are in Nanton, south of Calgary, high and dry thank goodness, High River is just North of us and the whole town has been evacuated. They are having a real rough time.
