I have a very good friend who resides in France and has a bda powered caterham, lovely fella and a mine of info which he extends to any one who has a seven type car, no one upmanship in him. He was an active contributing member of two UK based sites. He left both those forums for exactly what is taking place here. This is a great site, forum, lets keep it that way. We all have the same interests at heart, that is to drive, tinker and drive some more...a certain sensitivity is some times needed when discussing the various makes of sevens. The info on handling has been beneficial to all so far, keep it coming. Blat on people..

As has been said many times. The handling abilities of these wonderful machines far out guns the driving abilities of the majority of us, regardless of what our youthful minds tell us. What we do have, are toys that allow us to indulge ourselves in an elite world every time we strap ourselves into the silly seat. Whether you propel yourself along in the humble 1.6 or a fully blown twin cam, lets all do it with respect for the machine underneath us, and, the trouble it can get us into when we overstep our capabilities. The sheer joy of piloting my seven and the response of the general public is buzz enough for me. Nothing wrong with upgraditis, we all do some of that, lets all be mindful of where the road ends and the track begins. Happy blatting guys...

Looking forward to following this thread, mine will need setting up this spring.

Great to hear it all went well. The response from on lookers never stops..all part of owning a seven. Can't keep my lovely lady out of the seven, she loves the car. Have fun, keep grinning...

Hi Bigdog, they are Kuhmo ecsta ast..just got back from a quick blat, an inch or so of snow on the side roads, no problem!

These are on my seven...I will be taking the car out today! I don't do deep snow runs but I do go out when its snowing lightly and in temps around the minus five celsius range.
