The 'wind wings' on my Caterham broke shortly after I bought the car, and my friend Jim Hurd asked if I needed replacements. He fabricated replacements out of polycarbonate, and also laser-etched a Lotus logo in the corner. Jim's work is really nice - I have a set of his laser-etched bar glasses with several Lotus cars on them. If you'd like to contact Jim to ask about a particular project, let me know. He has access to the laser etching machine, as well as a 3D printer, and almost anything else you can think of.

Looks very nice!

I laser rastered a horn push delete plate, but I had to make my own logo to get the original lotus font.

Thanks Bob for the note. I have set up an account on the forum in case anyone wants to contact me about fabricating parts for the various Seven models. I'm the guy who made Bob's parts. I do this as a hobby and it's not my main business. Simply enjoy the engineering challenges. For Bob's side wings I fabricated, I also modified the support pieces since the initial design is subject to breakage. All parts fabrications are custom. If you like what is in Bob's picture, I can easily make these. I just need the original parts so I can line up the bolt holes and mount the hardware. Optionally you can drill the polycarbonate and mount your hinges.
