My Birkin is kind of a reverse kit....

I picked up a Birkin a month or so ago and am taking the opportunity to do a bit of maintenance and refreshing.

I put in a new timing belt, water pump, serp belt, and all new fluids. The interior was showing some wear, and other cosmetics to do.

I think I have it as far apart as I need. Now, redoing and reassembly.

I figure about another month or so...

I haven't changed the fuel. So, I haven't looked for pine cones yet. :) It was running fine when I got it. It did have a bunch of water around the spark plug holes. I think it was transported in an enclosed trailer, but left out in yard in the rain in Seattle for a few days.

If you don't have any - may want to add some safety hoops around the prop shaft

That is a good idea. Will do. I haven't had to source those before. I see a bunch at Summit Racing. Are there any that are particularly suited to a Birkin?
