I want a real 7 series 1 or a 7/20 or specials with twin cams or climaxes

In the end I felt if I sit on it rather than in it--so it became an investment decision price went to $78.5K. I basically want to be happy and joyful in the use of my rolling investments- I am 5 11, 165 pounds and 8.5 feet-it wasn't a perfect fit-and then all the leftover issues-will become part of a trade deal involving a 328GTB-so its gone.

 

PS I tossed all my old road and tracks-Car Porn-I found the ad for the only lotus 37 in a 60s R&T-this is what started the look for a special car.

I ran across a guy in Odessa, TX today with a 7 series 1 project for sale, and was lamenting that Craigslist brought no inquiries. I gave him my contact info and said if he really wanted to sell it, either go to this forum or contact me directly and I would post it.

I'm 5'8" and 230-250 lbs. I fit the S1 well although admittedly gaining or loosing 10 lbs makes a difference in the way I fit. It is easier to get in and out of than a fixed head Elan.
