Mike Rohaley
It struck me just now that ten years ago today we were at The Tail of The Dragon for the 07-07-07 event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Seven. I just had to check in and see if there was any hub-bub about this or any future event. We really enjoyed the experience and wondered back then if we would be around for a 60th. Al and Mazda (among others) did a great job with it all and it would be great to do something like that again one of these years. We are still thrashing our little car accordingly after 15 years of ownership and enjoy it as much as that first year behind the wheel (I still have yet to find a better replacement other than another 7). For those that were there ten years ago; post some photos, maybe we can get the fires burning for another epic drive for 65.
powderbrake
A great time was had by all. We didn't get all the cars in the overhead pic.
R1 Seven
Hard to believe it has been 10 years already. I was there with my recently completed Locost. A fun weekend for sure!
Kitcat
I was also there, in the first few months of my se7en ownership. I spent much of the event (and the following year) troubleshooting an intermittent problem with the starter not working. For instance, after the big photo shoot, above, I was the last car off the lot due to the non-start problem. I also learned to quickly put up the top as there were intermittent rainstorms there that weekend. I had a lot of fun perusing the many fabulous back roads that were part of the lure for that location for our group. Also met folks, like MichaelD, who would remain a se7ens friend thru today.
