Kink
It's with a heavy heart I put the Birkin up for sale. If I had a bigger garage I would not be making this post but it's time for the next phase of my car addiction. I'm asking $45,000. 2015 Birkin XS (current generation Wide Body), build completed in Spring 2016. Current mileage on the car is 5,154 (as of 8/9/19) Used on the street, autocross, and on the track. Never wrecked or contact with anything. Engine Highlights: Ford Duratec 2.0L - Estimated 200hp All Engine Work was done by Gerlach Performance and Machine in Colorado Donor Engine was from a 2006 Ford Focus with less than 500 miles (engine was out of a car that was damaged in transport, hail damage and other body damage on a new car) Supertech 11.3:1 CR Forged Pistons Crower Stage 2 Intake and Exhaust Cams (pt# 62552-2) Jenvey Individual Throttle Bodies New Valve springs and retainers Crankshaft is OEM Raceline Wetsump Coil on Plug Ignition Return Type Fuel rail with adjustable fuel pressure regulator Walbro gsl394bx external fuel pump Holley Hydramat in the fuel tank to prevent fuel starve at low fuel levels Specialized Components Typhoon ECU (fully unlocked for tuning) Mocal 13 Row, 325 Matrix Oil Cooler with AN fittings Gearbox/Diff: Ford T9 5 speed Gearbox from a Ford Sierra (UK) Custom ratios with the typical long first gear (1st - 2.482 2nd - 1.61, 3rd - 1.225, 4th - 1.1, 5th - 0.87) Short throw gear selector Rear Differential is a R180 from a Subaru STI - 3.90 with a clutch type LSD Brakes: Wilwood Narrow dynalite 4 piston calipers in front 98 VW Rabbit / 03 Audi TT rear calipers Misc: Weighs 1,300lbs with full cage, and 1,240lbs with just the roll bar Carbon Fiber Tillet B6 seats with custom pads (fits me comfortably and I'm 6'2" and 185lbs with a 32-33" pants waist), Larger than me can fit as well with how the seat is designed. Custom Full Cage built by Hank Moore at Advanced Auto Fabrication in Spokane, WA. The TIG welds are beautiful. Hank is very well know in the BMW world for creating competitive race cars. Painted Lotus Graphite Gray with Lotus British racing Green Stripe Setup for 6 point harnesses but 4 point will be included with the car Carbon Fiber Aeroscreen, and Windshield with defrost heat elements in the glass (interchangeable pretty quickly after you've done it a couple times, even with the cage) Carbon Fiber/Fiberglass dash Tall roll bar Short roll bar Custom Tonneau Cover Birkini top (covers the cockpit if using the windshield and roll bar, does not work with the cage) Custom Speed Hut Gauges - Speedo is GPS (so wheel size changes do not impact it) (Speedo, Tach, Oil Pres, Oil Temp, Water Temp, Fuel) Momo steering wheel with quick release hub I'm sure I'm missing a lot but this is the good stuff. Let me know if you or anyone is interested. It's a hell of a fun car and I am wishing I had room to keep it. The photos are of the various trims the car could be in. If you'd like anything specific, let me know. Kink
Nice car. Where did you get the cf windscreen for the XS? Sorry papak, I don't remember off hand. I think it was this one. https://www.aerodynamix.co.uk/shop/exterior/high-level-aero-screen-luego-viento-carbon/ I took measurements and I found something that was close enough and it worked out very well.
