Back in June I advertised this car in it's racing trim. Since there wasn't any interest, the car has been returned to street trim and the engine changed to an EFI Mazda 1.8 liter DOHC from a '94 Protege (forged crank). The car still has the RX7 5-speed and IRS. The ECU is Electromotive TEC-GT (will train on tuning adjustments). Innovate WB and datalogger. It has current Idaho registration. If a buyer wants the nose cone painted red or would prefer clamshell fenders, those can be done. Can deliver within 600 miles. $20,000.

If the current colors aren't acceptable, I can paint it to your spec, say white with blue stripes or yellow with a BRG stripe, or something wild. I've been doing custom paint jobs for decades.

Also included are some good spares, a 5-speed transmission, a limited slip differential and two half-shafts. Some of the new parts on the car are the radiator, gps speedometer, wheels/tires, brake pads, front rotors, engine timing belt, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate.

i have 5 or6 half shafts from rx-7 fc that can be had free with pickup or i will be going to Ogden, UT. first week of Oct. Although- would doubt that this car would ever tear one up they are tough.

Speedwagon, Thanks for your generous offer. I'll take at least 2 (in the case that someone else here also wants some) and send you a pm regarding your Ogden trip.

Asking price reduced to $17k.

Some may want to know if they'd fit in an S3. So, here are some pics of my leg space in the car with the current, very comfortable bench seats that are in it. I'm 6 ft tall and 170 lbs. The steering wheel is removable, but I've had no problem getting in and out with the wheel in-place. If the seats were replaced with an aluminum bucket type seat, there would be even more leg room. The seat width area is 16" on both sides.
