jloehlein
The people at QA 1 have been very helpful in helping me valve my shocks, and they have many body and shaft lengths to mix and match Thanks - I reached out to QA1, will see what they've got. fastg
I would watch out for the upper ball joint on the upper control arm, it's a very poor design the upper ball joints are not supposed to take that much load. The car I checked out in PA it was pointed out to me that they were bent. So check them out and replace them if in doubt with good quality units. jloehlein
Thanks - I reached out to QA1, will see what they've got. The QA1 rep got back to me very quickly - it looks like the DS404 should suit my needs. The upper ball joint does appear to be the tie rod end from a 60's Ford truck. I've got a set of Moog replacements. Were you suggesting to change the design or just make sure to use a quality brand? fastg
Just to use quality parts, Moog is a good brand. Graham
