Edge of Hell and the Beast Haunted Houses open at 8 p.m. and run on Fridays (opening at 8 p.m.) and Saturdays (7:30 p.m.)

 

The Liberty Corn Maze opens with five mazes, two with a MU/KU Border Showdown theme. The maze is open weekends and Labor Day through Oct. 30. Hours are 5-10 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $9; $7 for children 5 to 13. The Kansas City Irish Fest at Crown Center. The festival will features three days of music, dancing and exhibits with more than two dozen locally and nationally known bands playing traditional music and Celtic rock. Hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday. Regular tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the gate. Senior (65 and older) tickets are $5 per day.
