What classification was the car registered under in MA? It appears that cars can be registered in a variety of ways such as model year, replica car, speciality construction, etc... Or was it just titled as a regular car?

Titled just like any other car in Massachusetts. Nothing unique or special about the title.

That will likely make it more difficult to register in CA. Good luck with sale - it certainly is a unique car.
