Smithengineered
Hello, I recently sold my classic mini and now I’m looking to purchase a Caterham that is Sigma, Zetec, Duratec powered. Towards the Eastern side of the US preferably. I’m in Kentucky.
MoBoost
There is this, on Bring a Trailer. The car is in Michigan. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2019-caterham-280r/ Edit: I see that you’re already aware of this one. I have been keeping my eye on this one for a few days and plan on bidding for sure.

I wonder if this one ^^ will also go RNM like the yellow 310 from yesterday. Keep in mind that if you brought a complete car over from the UK or Europe it would probably cost you ~$8-10k just to put it in a 20ft container plus import duty. Roll on Roll off shipping is cheaper but I don't know if you'd really want to do RoRo shipping with a 7 considering they can sit outside at the ports for days (or even weeks?) waiting. @smithengineered Just make sure you are the high bidder even if it does get to RNM since the high bidder gets first bids on striking a deal with the seller. I would also recommend hitting Contact Seller before the auction ends so that you have their contact info, in the event you aren't the high bidder you can at least contact them in case the high bidder doesn't strike a deal. You can't contact them through BaT after the auction has ended. Good luck. This looks like a great car. Basically brand new!

I had considered bidding on the yellow one, but with $3700 shipping it took me out of that one. The red one is $1000 shipping so I feel much better with that. MoBoost
Not surprised that it was RNM at $41,000; it’s a new car! Patience is necessary, there are more cars out there. Edited November 23, 2022 by MoBoost

I knew that there was no way I could outbid Chuck27 so I had to bow out. He has purchased well over $700k in vehicles in the past year…. I’ll find another one.

The red one is within my price range, but there are a few things that I’m not fond of. And the black one looks great, but quite a bit out of my range. Thanks though! Mark IV
Actually, not black, a very dark blue metallic that jumps in sunlight. What about the red car do you not like? We can change some things.
