Gauge wiring - plug or hard wire?

Quick question regarding the use of a plug connector for gauge wiring.

I am wiring an AFR gauge and am wondering if there will be a noticeable signal degradation if I use a quick release plug connector for the power, ground, headlight, etc..  or should I just hardwire everything?

Plug first with corrosion prevention on the terminals and isolate well from movement and vibration.

Hardwire failing that.

There's always a good possibility you will be taking it apart for some reason before any connection problems appear.

If the application were an airplane or something which the integrity is critical, I'd say hard wire.

But this is a toy.
