For my S4 7 project.  Looking to buy or build heater assembly.  Not sure if the S3, S2 Seven cabin heater will work.  Perhaps pictures of the assembly should look like?  I have an Elan heater assembly, seems rather large,  assume that is out of a Triump Spitfire?  Also have a Lotus Europa heater, small no place for fan.  There is not much room in there, heater should be flat?  Any ideas what the heater is out of?  I have read, Land Rover?  None of the land Rover heater assemblies look flat.  Appreciate the help and information.  Thanks in advance.  Steve V.  In Arizona

From what I've seen, it appears to be the typical early seven heater but it mounts below the shelf (inside the footwell) instead of on top of the shelf. basically a spitfire rectangular heater box with the short ends open, and the fan motor and pipe fittings protruding through the fiberglass shelf which kicks up to provide room for it above the footwells and tunnel.

THank you for the reply.  What does the early 7 heater look like?  Appears the heater hangs from the lower/bottom part of the cowl/scuttle.  Motor protruding into engine compartment.  Spitfire heater has long water tubes, would need to be cut down. Lotus Elan could fit, seems rather large in size.  Does anyone have a picture of the 7 heater?  Or information about size or what works or, where did the heater unit come from what vehicle?  Thanks in advance. I have some heater pieces for an S4  Seven.  I have a heater core  and the "box".  no motor/fan or bottom plate. I don't know how much help that would be for you.  The heater sits inside the cockpit and the motor  fits through a hole into the engine compartment. The hose fittings also come up into the engine compartment.  I can get yo u pictures of what i have,  if that helps.  Also have a original roll bar, and license plate/spare tire bracket.  I had a S4 (bought new) for 30 years.
