Cueball1 Posted June 2, 2024 Posted June 2, 2024 My Birkin just started leaking at the thermostat gasket on the Raceline water rail. I figure while I'm replacing the gasket I may as well put in a new thermostat. Unfortunately I don't see numbers on the existing thermostat that pull up on a search. The raceline website also isn't helpful. Can anyone tell me what thermostat you are using with Raceline water rails?
CarlB Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 The thermostat Raceline uses is close to universal Ford or Chevy. I do not have a part number. Some imported cars use a smaller diameter, but you should be able to go to an auto parts store and get what you need. The important thing is knowing the opening point of the thermostat. I use a 195-degree opening stat. most thermostats have the opening temperature stamped into them.
