I'm planning on buying a 7 in in the next few months. Not decided new or used yet. Probably new, assembled. In '01 I assembled a Birkin an went thru

a very unique and funny registration process that would not be possible now. Does anyone know what's involved nowadays.  I imagine you have to go

thru the Mass. verification/tag method. Had a friend do his Cobra, it wasn't too painful. Getting my Birkin was unique, I think. If anyone is interested I'd

be glad to share my method.

Are you is Massachusetts or California? Both have their own process to get cars like the Birkin/Caterham and Cobra properly titled and registered. Only difficult if you try to reinvent the wheel and sneak the car through as something it is not (usually for tax purposes).

I registered my 83 Caterham in Mass. no issues at all. Assuming you have a prior title if used, and RMV1 for registration it should be easy.
The only question that came up was the VIN since it wasn’t standard, but it was accepted by the RMV.
