slngsht Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 roughly, how much does a typical se7en frame weigh? Say a Caterham or Birking... something middle of the road. Bare frame, no suspension, drivetrain, etc... :bigears:
Birkin42 Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 Stock, my Birkin frame stripped down to the bare frame with no aluminum panels on it was about 95 lbs. This does not include the roll bar (if you want to call it that) either. I'm adding about 10 lbs to it to accommodate mounting the S2000 drivetrain as well as provide mounts for the IRS differential.
