I am glad that the seven community doesnt do this. Not real sure I understand why either, as those that build replicas are either A-poor and cannot afford one (Me), B-Eccentric and love to build (McBearen and JonW come to mind) or C-Just flat think they can do it better. I prob forgot some but i think more or less most come into those groups. Though I understand there are some seven snobs out there, I has as of yet to meet any. They seem to welcome all cars as driving is the point. The car is just what you do it in. After reading some of the Atom forum rules, it also states your not to talk about other Atom forums either. Uh.....how do you make your car better without exchanging info. No wonder Keiths car was just as good. I still think atoms are a kickass looking ride though.

heh, unbelievable.

Couple of points here... First off, have any of the "clone" creators actually sold a unit? Ariel (or the US company) MIGHT have a point IF the "clone" was a commercial venture.

2nd, Somebody making an Atom lookalike (i.e. a mid engined car with a curved exoskeleton  ) is no worse than any Hyundai design that copies Honda.

As for banning them from their forum, they do have a right to do that - freedom of speech does not apply to privately run forums. So legally, there is no issue there, eventhough it's petty.
