[DC AREA] Little day trip in October??

Recommended Posts

Any of you DC area folks up for a short day drive and BBQ at Sugarloaf mountain in Maryland??

No specific date set yet. We'll have to wing it on a Saturday or Sunday based on weather. Leafs should be near peak color around that time.

Sorry to thread-jack, but I went to college (1970's) in Frostburg, MD in the Allegheny Mts. Any good Seven's roads that people have driven up there? I didn't own a car back then so I only drove those roads in a Greyhound bus! http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/ack2.gif

I don't have one off the top of my head, but I'm sure there are plenty in that area.

Russ, glad you can make it. I think at this point Michael D can make it too. Looking forward to meeting you.

Whereabouts in Maryland do you live?

Boy I'm sure glad I didn't pick this weekend. It's raining like crazy (how does that go? like a cow pissing on a flat rock?) http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/lol.gif

Nice pics, looks like a great trip!

BTW, who bought the Tim Allen Birkin with the red stripe (I suspect this is the car?).

Interesting....and congratulations to Russ. This was the first Seven I had a look at in 2002. A little too pricey for me at the time but very nicely built by Pete Challinor.

Thanks, it's been a blat and an education to own.   Will see what kind of wake it leaves as Mazda and I attend driving school tomorrow.
