lotusman1951 Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 :7fume: Lotustalk gathering 3-4pm Total Wine Mclean, I'll be there
slngsht Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 Unfortunately I'll be out of town :nonod: Would've loved to come.
BobDrye Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 The weather was great for the middle of February. 4 cars and 5 people, but we had a great time! A 1966 seven with a real DBA 2 liter. It sounded great! We need to do this more often. http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/758250225_img019.jpg :7head:

That definitely beats the dinky 9" links on my car.

This car was a National Champion years ago. Here is another picture of them. Lotusman is very interesting; he spends half of the year on his boat. In the past 25 years or so, he has owned a # of sevens. I think that we might be better off in trying to hook-up with Lotus owners in the area for a monthly meet-up. We are starting to do it and they do it, and seem receptive to us. Let’s spend a little time growing it. How about a meet-up around your place in late March? http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/1233135884_img017.jpg

My car will still be in pieces, but I'm definitely up for setting one up.
sparecr Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Dang it, the time I travel without the computer. On a train Friday to pick up the Caterham in VA, nothing to do on Saturday, then trailered the Cat back to Alabama. Would have been there. Did drive the car to lunch Saturday however.
