Stalkers in MA

Anyone know of any Stalkers registered in MA? I am considering one that is out of state but the regs to register it and pass inspection in MA look like a potential challenge. Any thoughts?

Dennis...I would reach out to one of the MA Se7en owners...even if they have another type of car, they might be familiar with regulations.

 

Paul Fluckinger might be a good resource. I saw this in an old email from him: "in Massachusetts, effective October 08, if your car has no ODB port then you do not have to have the emissions test. They are getting rid of the tail pipe test."

 

Don't know if that applies to Stalkers or not.

 

Also, Chris T. of Sevens and Elans would know the regs, but he's a Caterham dealer and probably fairly marque specific. Worth a shot though.

Hi,

Try calling your DMV or what ever they call themselves and ask what you would need to due and let them know it is already titled in another state and that you are looking a buying it for yourself. You will need the info from the title sucha s the year that it is titled as so they can tell you what will be required. Example my car was completed in 2005 by me but is titled as a 1963 Lotus 7 Replica here in SoCal.
