solder_guy
I drove a Seven .. down my driveway last night! Red Rotus 7 chassis #14 is at home in my carport as of 8:30pm. She looks a little rough .. but with time hopefully she will make a decent appearance. She was transported in an enclosed trailer .. in one day. The driver picked her up at Dennis Hedges shop in WV in the early morning and drove all day to Atlanta, GA I pulled off the hood and admired the new head and newly rebuilt carbs (did that part myself). New rewind wheels and tires look good. Next I pulled off the fabric top and got a look at the instrumentation and new harness wiring. Still some work to be done. Oil sender is not right. Analog Clock and Tach do not work for some reason. The Muth Signal Mirrors look great on either side of the windshield. Dennis left alot of parts and gaskets in the back storage area. I got to go through that and sort what is to be salvaged and tossed. First impressions: I bought a small monster! Looks great in the dark! Hopefully it won't look too bad in the sunshine. My wife wasn't impressed. Maybe it will grow on her. Rob Mitchell
