Yup, to clean the bottom

 

Taking old paint off, made a couple of holes and blew out a bunch of old rivet remains.

 

Will tack all the rivet holes, prep, prime and paint before final assembly.

That old dog has had V8's in it for about 20 years. No signs of any cracking that we have seen yet.
