Silk Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Jeff Duncan and I both ran again at Cumberland this past weekend, and the results were a bit different than last month. I snuck past Jeff on Saturday, but he sure had my number on Sunday. This was one of the fastest overall fields we've ever had at Cumberland, and top 10 finishes were hard earned. Jeff's 3rd overall on Sunday was a great performance against some top talent. The Sevens again proved to be forces to be reckoned with. http://www.nationalroadrally.com/historics_08.html
Silk Posted June 10, 2008 Author Posted June 10, 2008 damn... I'm missing out on all the fun. Whaddia mean - I thought I read somewhere you were blowing rivet remains out of your frame? Doesn't get much better than that!
jwduncan Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 That was one long course on Saturday (1.6miles). Very fast but I never felt like I knew where I should be for all of the gates. Gary, you definitely figured it out and did more than just sneak past on Saturday. Impressive. Sunday's course flowed better for me and I was lucky enough to put together a good run. I sure would like another crack at the long course. Glad that between the two of us, we could keep 'em on their toes. Mazda, there are still plenty of events at Cumberland later this year to exercise your ground thumping beast once it's back together.
