slngsht
today was a major mental milestone... My favorite Tshirt from my college days - My Formula SAE shirt - developed a huge 10" tear in the back when I tried to take it off at the pool today I got this shirt in 1990, and have worn it semi regularly. I still have a couple of older Tshirts, but not attached to them like the FSAE shirt. She'll be missed, and now I feel old. :leaving:
solder_guy
My Chumley's Petting Zoo (shark) T shirt finally wore out .. I gave it to a guy who owns a T shirt shop in the hope that he can recreate it .. Rob
Boxologist
go to an autoX with the vette. heck, when frankn7 is functional, u could use it as well. at the autoX run over a FSAE car to excise any bad spirits over the tear.:ack:
JohnK
slngsht; maybe you can have it framed or mounted or bronzed and keep it (with the tear hidden) as a companion near your desk. I had to go upstairs and check - My Paul Dunstall Racing t-shirt is still intact. It marks the beginning of my discovery of all the amazing motorsports creations our cousins across the pond provide us with. Dunstall took the Norton Atlas (a 750cc vertical twin with bunches of torque and great handling) and tricked it out with rearset footpegs, clip-on handle bars, and fiberglass tank and solo racing seat. And the world became all about going around corners. I don't know if he created the racer after-market business, but it feels like it to me. These things certainly take one back.
