bsimon
It's a very rare Fireblade Caterham. It's got the proper chassis numbers for a Fireblade and looks unmolested as well. I'd like to own one, but finances have the better of me.
scannon
How much does it weigh and what is the HP and torque? Must be an awesome power/weight ratio to achieve 0-60 in less than 3 seconds. Skip
bsimon
Blackbirds could just barely break 4 seconds 0-60, but I don't think the Fireblades could. Fireblades where only 130BHP, whereas the Blackbird was 170BHP. Most decent BEC sevens are under 950lbs.
DB6
I am not too sure about the paint job??? That little engine looks lost in there hey? The only thing I have heard is that the bike engined cars require a lot more maintenance as the engine is working really hard and bike engines normally will not take the miles a reg car engine would, must say tho I bet it screams. Sorry, I had this one mixed up with the 2.93 sec 0-60 claim on the Hyabusa R model also for sale. They didn't give a HP figure in their ad, anyone know what the R engine is good for?
