jwduncan Posted September 25, 2008 Posted September 25, 2008 Gary in his Super Stalker and me driving the Ultralite finished another successful weekend in Cumberland. Gary managed a very strong 2nd place finish two days in a row. Only the BMod Reynard was faster. I couldn't come close to the bar Gary set but I managed to bring the Ultralite home in 4th on Sat and 6th on Sunday several watch ticks behind Gary. Very fun to compete against high powered cars including Vipers, Vettes, and Cobras on a fast course. Harvest Moon results The Pumpkin Carve on Oct 25 and 26 is the last event of year in Cumberland. Lots of fun if anyone else is interested in joining us before winter sets in.
Silk Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 Jeff, I thought the highest complement our 7s received was several people calling them "cheater cars." All said in good fun, but perhaps with a degree of frustration. :) Hopefully we can drag Mazda and a few others up to Cumberland for the last event of the year. Gary
jwduncan Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Gary, Yes, I heard the same comment, laughed, and concluded they find the 7s as hard cars to beat. It would be great to get a few others to join the fun for the last event of the season. How about it Mazda, is your ride ready for the trip?
jbanker Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Hey Gary, Congrats on a fine finish at the Harvest Moon event. The SuperStalker has gobs of power and looks like you have got a handle on how to use it. It sure did not take you long to get it well sorted and figured out.. Jeff, Good looking Ultralight....With you two guys at the top of the winners list lends some creditability to the Se7ens movement. Jack, Stalker #10 in Indianapolis
