gjslutz
I broke down the other day and reinstalled the windshield for some late fall driving. Temperatures of 50’ to 60’ are still pleasant now. We still have most leaves on the trees although the rain will change that tonight. Gary :7drive:
pi7ot
Last sunday, I travelled from East central Iowa up to the Minneapolis suburbs. I got to check out the fall colours up there. It was lucky for me because I was a passenger. For the last 7 falls I have wanted to go check out the fall colours on nice roads. It never happens. If I'm in a 7 and the roads are curvy... :7fume: I cannot help it. Me, the car, the corners. That's all I'll see. m
11Budlite
Gary - When it starts getting even colder try installing the side curtains, it makes a BIG difference. I've used them several times in 30-40 degree weather and it's to the point where I might not install the heater. Nancy and I drove 1 hour to the shore on a 40 degree morning and she was surprised how comfortable it was...and she's a Southern girl! Here's a shot of the Birkin parked at Hammonassett State Park with the side curtains: http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/75540224_20081025_0043R.jpg "Me, the car, the corners. That's all I'll see." - I agree with you Mark. Even took a few extra turns around the rotary on the way to Hammonassett just for fun! slomove
...... I cannot help it. Me, the car, the corners. That's all I'll see. m Well, but sometimes you just cannot help seeing the trees either...... http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/upload/550402540_RockyAspen.jpg This was at the USA2005 tour end of September in the Rocky Mountains. Oh yes, there was a curvy road, too (bottom/middle of picture, double-click for detail) Gert
