MK-USA price reduction

MK-USA have dropped kit prices due to the favorable (to the US) exchange rate.

 

The very comprehensive standard kit is now $8999.00 and the R kit is now $9999.00

 

Shipping is based on distance from Central FL, for example a recent kit shipped to California for around $1500

Interesting. I had never heard of MK Enginering, tho its website says 100's have been sold. Per "Lotus Seven and the Independents" the model name "Indy" refers to the Independent rear suspension, not the race track. Anyhow, an interesting LiSS and nice that there is a US importer. Maybe they will bring a sample to the USA7s /LOG29 affair over Memorial day?

What motors/transmissions are guys running in these?

 

Quite a few different small 4 cylinder engines, zetec, duratec, MX5, etc, and of course motorcycle engines are particularly popular. Our own demo car is currently being built with R1 unit.
