Looks like they are all from the http://www.utahlotusmuseum.com/ collection. Can contact seller at vintagelotus@qwest.net Edited March 13, 2009 by Spaz More info
scannon Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 He also has a real 23B and 23C for sale. If I could afford it... The Xanthos replicas with their big windscreens just doesn't do it for me.
Spaz Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 That is the link for the 23B and 23C for sale? I love the powerplant of the 23C. I bet is just flys.
DeanG Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Some weird stuff in the engine compartment of the Elan.

Just look for the Cars For Sale link on the left of their home page. A mere $75 will get you one, the other is only $65k. Interestingly, the description says the car was originally built with 6 motorcycle engines. I'd like to have seen that configuration. Skip

KStier Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think that these are the same as the cars listed on the LOONY's site... right? lotusowner.com kisted under the for sale link... Kyle
scannon Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I found the Lotus 23s on the Utah Lotus Museum website which appears to be the same as the links in the Post 1. Lots of interesting cars for sale there. http://www.utahlotusmuseum.com/index.htm I just spotted that their website was last updated in 2002 so maybe the cars in Post 1 are the only ones left. Skip
Innominatus Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 (edited) ...so maybe the cars in Post 1 are the only ones left. Skip Yup - I think that's right. The Elite recently sold and the genuine 23B and 23C have long since gone on to new homes. The Rotorvic 23B appears to be back in England where the new owner is replacing the twincam with a period-correct replica of the motor that car used to run back in the day: six Ariel Arrow motors strung together into that wacky 1.5 liter V-12. Should make for a splendidly hellacious racket when it's completed. http://www.usa7s.com/vb/images/icons/icon14.gif Edited March 14, 2009 by Innominatus Tried to construct sentences, pre-coffee.
