Westfield 11 Builder Posted March 28, 2009 Share Posted March 28, 2009 Great news, did you get your exemption this year? I was lucky enough to be 3rd in line @ the DMV on Jan.2 this year. IIRC my # was 2009006. the last guy in line got #2009497. I arrived at about 4:30AM and it was all done and the last slot allocated by 10AM (doors opened @ 8:00AM). What a great system! I am exempt smog and the windshield rule! It required jumping through some hoops, but at least there is a mechanism for cars like ours to be legalised. But only givnig out 500 a year in a state our size makes for some dissappointed people. I was of those in January 08... I'd be a little hesitant if I was spending some super big money on say a GT40 or Noble.
