supersportsp Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Awesome. Thanks. BTW, I too have been looking at that cross-flow car in SF. He sent me some high res photos and it is very sharp. But, I am more interested in a Zetec/Duratec car at this point.
jfgw Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Would you consider a QED built Vauxhall Caterham with Quaife sequential straight-cut 6 speed and full carbon pack?
supersportsp Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Would you consider a QED built Vauxhall Caterham with Quaife sequential straight-cut 6 speed and full carbon pack? Are you talking to me or thegoat? I would be interested, price dependent of course.
jfgw Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Sorry, was talking to you supersportsp. My car is a really high spec, so the price may be too high, but I will be preparing a new thread about it soon. Sorry to hijack the thread. James
thegoat Posted May 22, 2009 Author Posted May 22, 2009 No worries on hijacking. Supersportsp, I am waiting on the SF crossflow photos as he is traveling. If you could forward them to me I would appreciate.
thegoat Posted May 26, 2009 Author Posted May 26, 2009 Don't really want to start a new thread for this, so I think I will just post here. I visited Dick Brink on Saturday. Drove a handful of his cars. At the end of the day, I pretty much decided that I am going to build a new Birkin (I think). Now I am just going through the part list deciding on what is needed and isn't. Right now, it looks like it will be one the newer IRS Birkins with stage 2 cams in a duratec.
slomove Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Cool....I think they sold a bunch of the IRS model in Japan and Australia but that would probably the second only in the US. I want one.....
