Local Philly area Lotus get together

Saw a notice about the PALS, (Philly Area Lotus Society) getting together at a local Lotus Dealership. Weather didn't look promising this morning, but it cleared up enough that I figured I could get there and back before it got too threatening.

 

Figured it would would be a good shake down run with the new Toyo's, and make sure that the brakes, oil and gearbox fluid changes were good.

 

On the way there, I pass a nice series II seven, going the other way. bummer.

 

Get to the dealership and find that I can't get to the other side of the dealership where the elises are parked because I couldn't get over the LARGE speed bumps. Bummer 2.

 

Someone came out and opened the chains on the entrance around the block, and I was able to join the group.

 

10 or so Elises, a M100 Elan and a nice Elan S2. Other seven returned about 15 minutes later.

 

Nice group of guys. Very accepting of the Caterham.

 

Found out that fitting in the Caterham is way easier than getting into an Exige.

 

I need to be alot shorter, lighter and way more flexible to get into on of those puppies with the top on.

 

My Seven ran fine and I am positve I'm going to scare the crap out of my self on the track.

 

Ready for LOG29!!!
