Sucky day

getting ready for autox tomorrow. plan was to drive to inlaws tonight to stay overnight (they're half way to autox), then leave kids with them. The rain that was supposed to end in the afternoon would not let up, and I just finally got the car on the trailer. Before putting it on, I figured I should go fill up since I knew I was low. Ran out of gas on the way to the gas station (about a one mile drive). got over that ordeal, but on the way back, the car was missing. I think the passenger side fuel rail might have gotten a little air in it (returnless rails). I'm pretty sure it cleared up, but by then I was in the neighborhood, so I couldn't push it.

Car is on the trailer now, but it's starting to rain a little again . gotta get up and out of the house in 4 hrs.

Look on the bright side of things, SCCA autocrosses in the rain too. Make sure your electrical connections are covered well and go have fun. It'll teach you how to handle your Se7en in the rain. Saved me multiple times with each of the cars I have owned (AWD, RWD, FWD) and the different characteristics they possess in both dry and wet conditions. I think everyone should attend at least 1 autocross before they get their license.

no autox in rain for me in the seven - at least not this year (no windshield, no hood). But I do enjoy autox'ing in rain, and it does teach you alot about car control, and it's easy on the tires too. I've done it in the vette a couple of times.

should have gorgeous weather this weekend! just co-drive w/ someone else and reciprocate sometime later. makes driving more fun. after getting pasted by hot shoes in my car the past couple of years, i have a 3 event win streak vs car owner's!
