scannon Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Welding and some common cleaning solvents can make some nasty gasses. Bad Stuff
S1Steve Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 That fact has been known in the trade for some time. We have been wearing half face masks when we weld or grind on any Stainless Steel, 304, 317. The fumes and dust from that stuff is very hard on the lungs. When we weld old to new it always makes nasty fumes. I try to stay away from welding anymore, plus the eyes are not young anymore. Good fact for the guys to know Scannon, Steve, Steamfitters Local 420, Phila. Pa
