yellowcsr260forsale
Hello Everyone, Can I get some advice on where to sell my 2007 Caterham CSR 260? Are there many in the US? What are the values lately? It has 10000 miles and zero damage. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks! yellowcsr260forsale
MHKflyer52
Well this is a good place to start. You might want to post some photos of it and a list of its specifications, modifications, if registered and licensed, location of car, extras or any info you feel is important that might help a perspective buyer to take the step to ownership of your 7. As for what it is worth that is hard to say with the way the market is today. I would figure what you want and what you would sell it for and then go from there with a price and if you do get a offer and it is not in the range that you have set then don’t sell the car. Another place you might want to look into is the place that you purchased the car from as they might have a buyer in the wings. Who knows your post might be the key to the sale of your 7. Good luck with the sale.
supersportsp
I will tell you all of the places I looked while searching for my car. I was looking for an SV as well. - Here - Lotustalk.com - Hemmings - eBay Motors - California Caterham Club - Caterham USA - Various Caterham dealers - Craigslist Of those, you will by far and away get the most views/exposure on eBay. yellowcsr260forsale
Ok, thanks guys, I will start posting it around. I saw the same car go for 70k last year. Its hard to find similar sales for this model. Mine has the full weather kit, color matched fenders, single tonneu and paging alarm system. I guess I would have to pay the twenty bucks to post in the forsale section.

jturrell
I can't imagine there are many CSR's in the states, which may help with your sale. This is the last one I saw for sale and it wasn't available for that long: http://www.sevenselans.com/cars_for_sale/2006_caterham_csr/index.htm There's an R400 for sale at Orlando Aston Martin. It's not the same as a CSR, but might help you with pricing. It was originally for sale at Caterham USA (back before May?) and has been for sale since at around $65k. http://www.astonmartinorlando.com/preowned-inventory.html Caterham USA has an 06 Roadsport for sale at $47k, but it's a Zetec, so it's probably not as good of a price comparison. http://www.uscaterham.com/showroom/available.html Caterhams really seem to hold their value. Good for sellers . . . . bad for folks like me. : )
