scannon Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 That's one brave woman. When I was in college, a friend's father had a bullet proof vest factory. He brought one back from a home visit and convinced us to fire a .22 long rifle at him in the hallway of his mobile home. Since the vest was designed to stop a .357 magnum there wasn't much risk. Mondo Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 I've seen some video of nitwits thinking these vests stop the bullet without anything happening to the wearer. It's pretty funny to see their reaction to the pain of the bullets force hitting them. You're likely to get a bruised rib etc... from that force, though it doesn't penetrate it still smarts. I was autocrossing at the State Police proving grounds a year ago while the deputies were taking a taser class in a T-building. One of the deputies had a heart attack when they zapped him.
