ottocycle Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I took my old Jaguar out for a spin this weekend (we had great weather, at long last), and broke my throttle cable. I will have to make a new one. Does anybody have any recommendations on what to look for in a quality cable and who might be a competent supplier of parts? I did a quick web search and found a number of suppliers but I am old fashioned.... I like referrals! Cheers- Dermot.
GBOLT Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 I had really good luck with the lokar kit. Very happy with quality. GB

scannon Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Alaskossie's ESL has a mountain bike brake cable for the throttle cable. Nathan needed one with a built in 90 degree bend to clear the roller throttle bodies as it came out of the pedal box. It looked pretty tiny compared to the throttle cables I am used to seeing.
Locost 5.0 Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 The Lokar cable is nice. I'm using it on my car, very happy with it. Rod
