I have tried several times to upload pictures of my car and every time it fails. I covered about a thousand miles last year doing the classics, Highwood Pass, The 1A to Lake Louise etc. No problem with importing the car or registering in the province. The car ran great ( 165Hp ) and I just have to change some of the idle jets to compensate for the altitude.

Hi Steve

I used a company in England to ship the car and they were fantastic to deal with.

They built a crate around the car which enabled it to go in a container with other freight to Montreal and then it went in bond by rail to Calgary. I bought the car in early April and it was in Calgary by the second week of May. If you ever want more information please let me know.

Hello everyone! I'm checking in from Edmonton. I have a "book" Locost under construction. the frame is mostly done, part way through the rear suspension. It will be powered by a Toyota 4AGE, Supra W58 tranmission, Corolla GTS live axle, Yamaha R6 coilovers, inboard.

I scored big yesterday, a brand new (but dusty) 8 gallon Jaz gas tank at a garage sale for $50.

cheers, Doug

Hi Stewart

If summer ever comes, that will cut into quality garage time. Need time for autocrossing the Miata and camping in the VW van. :) I'd like to have a runner this summer or fall, and realistically, ready for the street (and track) next spring. I have to pick up one of my transmissions at my brother's in Cochrane sometime this spring. (long story)

Cheers, Doug

Hello Fellas, I'm new to this forum. I have a Fejer 7 with a 3TC and twin side draft webers and a 5 speed. It's registered as a 1986 and came with some good photos and promotional material from the guys on Vancouver Island who were going to sell the cars out west. I'll try posting some pictures shortly.

Hi guys,

name is Bill and I figure its time to introduce myself in the Canadian Se7en roll call.

I had started to collect parts/materials to build a lo-cost based on the XR4Ti, as I have lots of spare parts etc. A friend of mine who built this car is leaving the country and offered it to me. Sooooo, I picked up the 7 this March and I am really enjoying it. I still intend to build a car though, hopefully starting this winter.

Also met up with Stewart and Steve and our other halfs and went for a blat to Kananaskis in Alberta. Had a great time (hope to have more blats in the future)

Its got a V8, 302 small block Ford engine with alloy heads, roller cam, T5 gearbox and its really a blast and a handful to drive. It has a Holley carb and future plans are to go with port injection and probably Megasquirt.

I auto X the car and during these events Ive met other potential/pending 7 owners, here in Calgary.

Here is a pic of the day I brought her home. (not exactly 7 weather)
