MoPho Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 They're really good at picking the "wrong" dates to do these AX events
MHKflyer52 Posted August 19, 2010 Author Posted August 19, 2010 They're really good at picking the "wrong" dates to do these AX events Access to the Airport is what determines the dates and they are looked at and scheduled a year in advance with the airport manager. I know this because I am on the auto-x committee for the SBRPCA club. I also wish they had more open dates so that we could gain more access for more auto-x's also.

MHKflyer52 Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 martin- When u use the airport, is PCA-SB using teh taxiway as well? how close to the hangers on the eastside? Boxologist, We use the end of the runway which is not used and blocked off from the main runway. Two thousand feet long and we are allowed to use 1600 ft of that distance. Here is a photo fo the area we use (blacktop area with the hash marks on it). airplane on the lower right is a Supper Connie and is one of three that I know of and I think the only one that can still fly.
