K&N and clamshells

Hello,

 

I've decided to ditch my tall airhorns and foam socks and get a K&N.

 

A concern raised is that the clamshell fender interferes with the K&N.

 

Does anyone with this spec have a recommendation for the right size and part number for the K&N and a pic you would be willing to post to show me the look and clerance?

Hi Dingo, I found some of your original pics from your first post to the forum. The set up looks great.

 

Can you send me a part number or dimensions off the carb when you get near the car?

I use K&N part # 3859-10 on my webers. (4.5 x 7 x3.25"). Don't know if that helps. Fits w/o interference w/clams.
