Positive ID of gearbox

Can anyone ID my gearbox (from previous owners photos) in my '79 Caterham? I am looking for a gearlever replacement also. The previous owner cut it to a "stub" which is very difficult to get into reverse and too short for my liking. It is NOT the one in the picture .... that one would be fine.

I had printed that pic from Burton and it does look like the 2000e "bullet" ,but the remote shift extension housing confused me. I am trying to find a gershift lever to replace my current lever. The current lever is just too short.

It looks like a gear box from a Ford Anglia 1200, at least without the shifter extension. Look up the ford anglia 105E uk owners club's website and look at the technical articles for trans swap.

Mark - I lightened-up and zoomed in on your original photo and it certainly looks like it could be a Bullet gearbox with a different tailshaft and shift extension housing. I'm not familiar with the different options in that regard and how available they'd be in the states. Maybe check with Chris T. at Seven & Elans or Dave Bean. Do you think there was a gear shift lever extension on there originally? I know I drove a VW camper many years back that had one. Looked like this:
