powderbrake Posted March 15, 2007 Posted March 15, 2007 Do you follow your car's maintenance schedule? Don't forget the Vaseline! http://www.usa7s.com/aspnetforum/images/emoticons/biggrin5.gif I did when I owned my 1928 Ford ( my first car )but I didn't know about the vaseline. Note to prospective Model A owners, Dual stromberg 97 downdraft carbs on your Model A WILL cause valve burnout problems. I also do now, my Tahoe and my Corvette tell me to change my oil. I usually change it when it hits 25 to 30% oil life left. I use Mobil 1 in all my cars now. It is required in the vette, as it doesn't have an oil cooler, and Mobil 1 will stand up to the heat.
