The Stig
My caterham has guards inside the front brake discs. Previous seven did not have them and I see no value in keeping them - add weight, somewhere to trap dirt and stones and they dont look great. Anybody see reason to keep them? Croc
No - bin them. They are designed to keep the wheel cleaner but dont really do that. Better option is to use that spray on wheel cleaner that repels brake dust.
turboeric
I've run my Miata without them for 6 years - no issues.
The Stig
Thanks. Consider them binned.
