squarefour
I can't believe the number of times I've seen those little Harbor Freight winches put to cool use. I also saw one being used to deploy the "landing gear" in Don Vesco's old Land Speed Record jet bike, but this use is a close second for coolness! The smallest they had was about twice the size and weight of this one. I found it on Amazon.com. It is made by Neiko.
MichaelD
Skip, How are your shoulders today? What to rent the butt wench? I have a torn right cuff and it does make entrance and egress from a Seven a bit uncomfortable. Track days are a bear. Surgery set for August. scannon
Michael, The shoulder is doing well enough that I am putting off the joint replacement surgery indefinitely. Not as strong as it needs to be but with the butt extractor I can still drive my Se7en. It was easy to make and install and didn't require any new holes or other modifications to the car. I highly recommend it. I have stopped doing track days because I am leery of doing further damage to the shoulder and forcing me to have the joint replacement. Skip, How are your shoulders today?
