My Day with the SP300R

Had a fabulous time in the UK at the International Caterham Dealers Meeting, which included a tour of the Caterham F1 factory, (sorry no photos of that they took our phones and cameras) and a great day at Snetterton Circuit.

 

Caterham bought several cars to Snetterton, including the new Super Sport, (it's a hoot) a CSR, R400 and of course the Caterham/Lola SP300R, which I drove.

 

Snetterton although a 3 miles circuit, doesn't have a long enough straight to get the SP 300R flat out although I did get it on the rev limiter in 5th which is about 160 MPH. The SP300R is an amazing car, real easy to drive super quick with astonishing brakes and manners.

Price not yet finalized but we expect it to be in the region of $140,000. We have one on order, shall I put your name on it?
