looking for series 1 or 2 fuel tank dimensions

Hi everyone,

 

I'm hoping someone here can help. I'm looking for the overall fuel tank dimensions for a Lotus 7 series 1 or series 2 fuel tank. Pictures would be brilliant, but I'm primarily interested in overall dimensions.

 

Any help at all would be highly appreciated.

I also have this photo which shows the dimensions of what appears to be the S2 tank from the link above. I can't vouch for the accuracy but it could be of help to you.

Thanks for the information. I found the link to Andy Wilrshire's website while researching Lotus 7 fuel tank dimensions. Impressive workmanship, but his website didn't list dimensions (other than fuel capacity). Your photo is of great help though, definitely a great starting point for what I need.

 

Based on the dimensions in the image you've posted, I believe the Series 1 fuel tank is smaller than the Series 2 tank, but I don't know by how much and where the differences are. I believe it's shorter (less than 790mm as indicated) but again I'm not sure. I guess the research continues....
